Green Hills Community Action works through partnerships to make self-sufficiency a reality for individuals and families, by empowering them to achieve the knowledge, skills, and motivations needed to build strong families and communities.

Serving the Green Hills Counties of Caldwell, Daviess, Grundy, Harrison, Linn, Livingston, Mercer, Putnam, and Sullivan.
With limited services to Carroll, Chariton, Clinton, DeKalb,and Ray Counties.
2-1-1 provides callers with information about and referrals to human services for every day and urgent needs:
Basic Human Needs, Physical & Mental Health Resources, Employment Support, Income Tax Credit (EITC) Filing Assistance, Support for the Elderly, Support for People with Disabilities, Support for Children, Youth and Families, Volunteer/Donor Opportunities, Help in Non-Emergency Crisis Situations
